Subject: C News patch of 22-Aug-1991

Yes, a patch that fell through a time warp! :-)  Due to unusually high
sunspot activity, the August patch set consists of *four*, not three.

Okay, what happened was that there is a bug:  in an option I never use
during testing, one of the recent changes broke the output of build.
Oops.  Here's the fix.  Also included is the little bit of post-patch
fixup mentioned in my earlier posting.
